The Roller (patent pending) is a versatile, fully mechanical battery tube mod, which is able to fit 16340 to 18650 batteries (16340, 18350, 18500 and 18650).
The Roller, which has been custom-built from the ground up, is the result of dedicated team work and exhaustive testing. All parts, down to the smallest spring, have been designed and manufactured specifically for use with the mod.
The switch we’ve built for the Roller is purely mechanical and rebuildable. This double-break, custom-built switch has been developed in-house and integrates an innovative locking mechanism that prevents accidental operation. To this day, the switch of the Roller remains the common point-of-reference for all top-firing mech designs that came after it.
The electrical design of the device has been optimized for a balance of safety and performance. Basic short-circuit protection is provided by a removable, custom-built spring, while special care has been taken to minimize electrical losses.
Important Note: The hot-spring used in the device is only suitable as the last safety measure, since it will collapse and interrupt the circuit only after the battery has heated up significantly. While the spring is enough to prevent any serious injuries, it is not enough to protect the battery or the unit itself during a short circuit — for that, you must use a dedicated protection circuit such as the Bug.
The SS-Custom version of the Roller is made of high grade stainless steel and can be ordered with a natural matte, ice matte or polished surface finish, customizable on each individual component.

Design
The development of the Roller started in January 2012. It is based on a retractable prototype that was originally built during the summer of 2011. Its design is characterized by a timeless, minimal aesthetic form with simple, clear lines and a large, well-balanced, ergonomically-placed button.
Getting Started
Both the Roller and the Dingo are 100% rebuildable, high performance mechanical mods of moderate-to-high complexity. As such, they are suitable for experienced, capable vapers who:
- possess a good understanding of the nature of mechanical mods, and
- are able to quickly identify the particular characteristics of each device in order to get the most out of it.
Mech mods are sophisticated, enthusiast-oriented vaping tools. By nature, a mechanical mod requires:
- Proper handling.
- Frequent maintenance.

I ordered mine on a Tuesday and it was delivered on a Thursday(Athens->CA USA)!
I opened the package and felt how light it was and had a little doubt being used to mods weighing a ton. The fit and finish is buttery smooth and it hits harder than anything I have ever owned.
Initially I got the Roller because of arthritis in my hands and needed a side fire button thinking it was a good compromise. Everything else I own now tucked away in their boxes probably never to see the light of day.

The Roller is a top, top mod. It looks and feels fantastic and is beautifully made – the switch especially is an engineering masterpiece. I decided upon the switch housing and outer tube in IM finish and the switch button (easy-twist), inner tube and bottom cap in M finish with rhodium upgrades to the 510 connection and spring.
I’m also very happy with the fit and function of The Bug which I purchased at the same time.
I’ve got to also mention the fantastic service, especially from Taz who was very, very helpful. To top it off my order left Athens on Tuesday at 1606 and was delivered to me on Wednesday at 0944 – enough said.

I’ve had my Roller for a week and a half now and I have to honestly say that I am actually still completely satisfied With it!! It is an absolutely gorgeous mod and also just sleek and elegant. U can literally take this device to any occasion and it will fit right in. Even with my Provari, I would find myself hiding vaping on it at dressier affairs, but I have no qualms about taking a vape from my Roller in a suit. I absolutely love it and I will not be listing this mod in the classies, as I will be keeping it forever!!
I also have to say that the roller hits like a beast, it really does. I was actually quite surprised by how hard it does hit. Now, I also used it with the Kick and at first I wasn’t getting very good results, but after reading a bit in the forums, I put noalox on all of the threads and I went from getting only 1hr of vape time from 18500 batteries, to getting 8 hrs of vape time. Hope this helps someone if u are having the same issues I was.
