All base units come with a retractable tube (#RD-TR) that fits 18350 to 18650 batteries, a plain brass spring (un-plated) and 2 plain brass connectors (Classic & Recessed, both un-plated).
Optional extensions, additional springs & connectors and other specialty items may be selected here or purchased separately.
The Roller (patent pending) is a versatile, fully mechanical battery tube mod, which is able to fit 16340 to 18650 batteries (16340, 18350, 18500 and 18650).
The Roller, which has been custom-built from the ground up, is the result of dedicated team work and exhaustive testing. All parts, down to the smallest spring, have been designed and manufactured specifically for use with the mod.
The switch we’ve built for the Roller is purely mechanical and rebuildable. This double-break, custom-built switch has been developed in-house and integrates an innovative locking mechanism that prevents accidental operation. To this day, the switch of the Roller remains the common point-of-reference for all top-firing mech designs that came after it.
The electrical design of the device has been optimized for a balance of safety and performance. Basic short-circuit protection is provided by a removable, custom-built spring, while special care has been taken to minimize electrical losses.
Important Note: The hot-spring used in the device is only suitable as the last safety measure, since it will collapse and interrupt the circuit only after the battery has heated up significantly. While the spring is enough to prevent any serious injuries, it is not enough to protect the battery or the unit itself during a short circuit — for that, you must use a dedicated protection circuit, such as the Bug.
The Roller comes in 4 different stainless steel finishes:
- Roller SS-P, with polished suface finish,
- Roller SS-IM, with a shot-blasted ice-matte finish,
- Roller SS-M, with natural matte finish, and
- Roller SS Custom, which is custom-built-to-order with a per-component choice of polished, ice-matte, or matte finish.

Design
The development of the Roller started in January 2012. It is based on a telescopic prototype that was originally built during the summer of 2011. Its design is characterized by a timeless, minimal aesthetic form with simple, clear lines and a large, well-balanced, ergonomically-placed button.

Both the Roller and the Dingo are 100% rebuildable, high performance mechanical mods of moderate-to-high complexity. As such, they are suitable for experienced, capable vapers who:
- possess a good understanding of the nature of mechanical mods, and
- are able to quickly identify the particular characteristics of each device in order to get the most out of it.
Mech mods are sophisticated, enthusiast-oriented vaping tools. By nature, a mechanical mod requires:
- Proper handling.
- Frequent maintenance.

Just received my natural polished roller and am very happy. A lot of thought and testing resulted in an excellent telescopic mod.
The customer service I received while making my purchase has been the best experience I have ever had with a vendor.

The device has a serial number and comes with brass recessed and regular 510 connections, I added ss recessed and regular for my roller.
It took me a while to get this device, they are very popular and not always in stock.
The roller is the best mechanical mod I have ever purchased or used.

Since the Kick came out, I have been looking for that perfect device to pair it with that didnt need a carrying case for different length tubes… an all in one device that was mechanical so it would work perfectly every time, but had a classy look to it. Well, This was it! The Roller has quickly become my all day every day, go everywhere mod! Hands down the best machining of any device I have owned. Threads as smooth as butter!
Mechanical locking switch that works flawlessly every time, locks with a simple turn and you know its locked when you feel the bearing “click” in to place. Telescopic tube that can handle any battery I have (especially now with addition of the kick extension tube). Replaceable connector for flush or raised mounts in SS or Brass. Very elegant finish and design!

Wow!!!…. I’ll say it again…. WOW!! Just received my Polished Stainless Steel Roller today and to say I’m impressed is, indeed, an understatement.
Design, build quality, versatility and of course, usability are all at the very top of a market, desperately in need of some class. The Roller SS-P fits the bill perfectly.
Although during ordering all the discrete parts were listed, (inner and outer tubes, springs, switch housing etc…), I was extremely happy to find that this beautiful device comes fully assembled. Just pop in a battery, screw in your favourite 510 atomizer and away you go, vape ready!! Fully mechanical with a decent sized switch head that fires your atty each and every time, I was vaping away in less than five minutes.
Now…. though the telescopic variable size battery case design has been visited before, this incarnation is the ultimate refinement. Flawless polished lightweight steel, threads truly like butter, brass negative spring, adjustable brass positive pole, brass atomiser mount, responsive robust switch (360 degree rotation, fires with switch indicator in the vertical, turn 90 degrees to the horizontal to ensure secure ‘no fire’) and as mentioned above, fully adjustable telescopic battery housing that can take ANY battery I possess!!!
A unique serial number is etched on the vented base with accompanying warranty certificate in the box, this beauty is very professionally presented.
I know some will think that a battery housing is there simply to provide power to the almighty atomiser, but to have it done with such class forces one to rethink who should complement who, lol. In my case, a perfect match is my other Greek fav, the DID.
So what is it about yet another group of young innovative Greeks that has them constantly designing and manufacturing such high quality devices? Some say they’re in league with the Gods…. Okay, I’ll go along with that!!!
