All base units come with a retractable tube (#RD-TR) that fits 18350 to 18650 batteries, a plain brass spring (un-plated) and 2 plain brass connectors (Classic & Recessed, both un-plated).
Optional extensions, additional springs & connectors and other specialty items may be selected here or purchased separately.
The Roller (patent pending) is a versatile, fully mechanical battery tube mod, which is able to fit 16340 to 18650 batteries (16340, 18350, 18500 and 18650).
The Roller, which has been custom-built from the ground up, is the result of dedicated team work and exhaustive testing. All parts, down to the smallest spring, have been designed and manufactured specifically for use with the mod.
The switch we’ve built for the Roller is purely mechanical and rebuildable. This double-break, custom-built switch has been developed in-house and integrates an innovative locking mechanism that prevents accidental operation. To this day, the switch of the Roller remains the common point-of-reference for all top-firing mech designs that came after it.
The electrical design of the device has been optimized for a balance of safety and performance. Basic short-circuit protection is provided by a removable, custom-built spring, while special care has been taken to minimize electrical losses.
Important Note: The hot-spring used in the device is only suitable as the last safety measure, since it will collapse and interrupt the circuit only after the battery has heated up significantly. While the spring is enough to prevent any serious injuries, it is not enough to protect the battery or the unit itself during a short circuit — for that, you must use a dedicated protection circuit, such as the Bug.
The Roller comes in 4 different stainless steel finishes:
- Roller SS-P, with polished suface finish,
- Roller SS-IM, with a shot-blasted ice-matte finish,
- Roller SS-M, with natural matte finish, and
- Roller SS Custom, which is custom-built-to-order with a per-component choice of polished, ice-matte, or matte finish.

Design
The development of the Roller started in January 2012. It is based on a telescopic prototype that was originally built during the summer of 2011. Its design is characterized by a timeless, minimal aesthetic form with simple, clear lines and a large, well-balanced, ergonomically-placed button.
Getting Started
Both the Roller and the Dingo are 100% rebuildable, high performance mechanical mods of moderate-to-high complexity. As such, they are suitable for experienced, capable vapers who:
- possess a good understanding of the nature of mechanical mods, and
- are able to quickly identify the particular characteristics of each device in order to get the most out of it.
Mech mods are sophisticated, enthusiast-oriented vaping tools. By nature, a mechanical mod requires:
- Proper handling.
- Frequent maintenance.

I love this MOD… Everything about it screams quality and it hits hard ever time.
I’ve been using it exclusively for about two weeks and it matches and often exceeds that quality of any of the Greek makers. It’s understated and yet it feels special in the hand. I really is my favorite mod right now. I’m using it with a By Leo Sofia and D-Base tank but I’m just about to order a “Bayou 22” in matte finish for it.

The Roller is unique. A magnificent specimen. In 18650 mode, the edges of the tubes are a bit sharp, but this is probably the alignment of the tubes in the 18350er mode owed. The spring I have taken out: in the spring-less mode, a reliable companion. Everyone should have two, three, four Roller 🙂

Where to begin!
Firstly;
Ordering, I ordered late Friday night 21st March, I messed up, emailed support and got a personal reply from Taz explaining and detailing how it would be rectified. All sorted with no fuss, including refund to my PayPal account. Reordered late Saturday night 22nd. My order arrived today Tuesday 25th March.
Secondly;
The Roller, Ice Matte, is absolutley beautiful! The quality is simply incredible, threads amazing, in 18350 mode with the Bug, it is tiny, have a Kayfun Lite Plus on top with a 1.2ohm coil, just lovely. The switch is fantastic and the locking feature a huge plus. The extension tube matches and threads exactly.
I can’t wait for my kick2 and 18650 batteries!
Finally, I can’t praise the customer service and support enough, truly outstanding! Thank you all so much for a wonderful, and fairly priced mod. Will defiantly be keeping an eye out for what you come up with and highly recommend to friends and others.

Just received the Roller… in only two days!!
Let me describe the Roller for you: it’s compact, small, and simply beautiful! The minimalistic design is simply fantastic.It looks really great with the Bayou tank. And the performance? Even without the kick module, which is still in the mail, this tiny mod really delivers! Even without the kick, this thing made me store my Sigelei – which is usually set to 9-10 watts! It was a surprise, because other mechs did not even compare to a VW mod.
Congratulations to everyone on the Atmizoo team. You have made some really stunning products. I would surelly (In fact, already have…) recommend you products, because they are superb. May your success continue – maybe in the making of some incredible bottom coil atomizer? 🙂

Just got my Roller in the mail today and I am blown away. This thing is a LOT smaller than I thought it would be, definitely not a bad thing. The pictures do not do a justice. I am in love with this mech already. It’s smaller in 650 mode, with a Kick(and extention ring, obviously), than any of my other mods. This thing is perfect.
Also, shipping was ridiculously fast. Faster than anything I’ve ordered from either the States or Canada.
Even though the Canadian dollar to Euro exchange rate isn’t the best, I would definitely recommend this mechanical mod. Would buy again if I had to.
