Two are better than one

It’s already been two and a half years since the release of the SnailTank.

Do you remember why it was a breakthrough at that time?

In short, it tackled all the “difficult” points that one might encounter with the classic Boro approach of all the compatible tanks available back then. By incorporating elements from the pod-style design, the SnailTank could be refilled through a large refill hole located at the front upper side. It allowed access to the RBA deck even when almost full with juice, at any time, in the case of VapeShell and all bridges with a similar collaboration between chimney and deck (non-threaded, with no extra tight o-ring intervention between the two parts). Last but not least, it featured a Chimney Gasket added to the top side of the tank section to adjust the hole to the diameter of Boro standard bridge chimneys, plus to seal off with the AIO 510 nut, even if you remove the sealing oring that most nuts or hybrid drip tips have.

The overall design and features of the SnailTank still remain a significant advantage for the Boro AIO users. Except for one important detail: More and more modders and AIO designers came up with concepts where the visible part of the tank would be its side. This approach is great as it has given vapers a lot of slim and elegant AIO designs, but it eliminates one of the best parts of the SnailTank, which is the easy refill on the fly.

Since this type of Boro compatible AIOs became more and more popular, we recognised this need and focused on creating a versatile refill system, adjustable to suite all preferences and compatible with all Boro AIOs. You can refill through 2 different holes, either the usual front hole or an alternative, identically sized hole on the side of the tank. The carefully designed refill cover can be easily removed from either hole you choose to use for topping up, while the part that covers the other hole serves as a stable anchoring point.

An interesting detail is that the tank part, the adapter part and all the silicon gaskets (obviously except for the new refill cover) are cross-compatible with both the v1 components plus the VapeSnail parts. This offers a lot of potential to the owners of the SnailTank v1 and the VapeSnail, either for maintenance or as upgrade / accessory options!

The SnailTank v2 does not present much innovation compared to its predecessor; however it is fully adjusted to meet the contemporary needs of the Boro audience. Its new, redesigned refill system allows for refilling through 2 different holes, featuring an amazing, secure and smart refill cover.
Vapers will have the chance to get their hands on the new design starting from the official release date, Tuesday November 12th 2024, through our site and our official resellers worldwide.
