Simplify, simplify, simplify!

Meet the Dingo — a non-retractable version of the Roller for fans of minimal design.

The Dingo has been developed side-by-side with the Roller and, as one would expect, the two have a lot in common, both aesthetically and functionally. Essentially, the Dingo is just a stripped-down Roller, so, apart from the tubing, the two mods are built by the same parts and are 100% compatible to each other.

The Dingo comes standard with a fixed-length 18350 tube, which makes the mod 5mm shorter compared to the Roller in 18350 mode. Out of the box, its compact, elegant housing fits 16340 and 18350 batteries only. However, the Dingo can also accommodate larger battery sizes with the addition of fixed-length extensions.

And, last but not least, the Dingo can be easily upgraded with the retractable tube that comes with the Roller.

The first version of the Dingo, SS, is made of high grade stainless steel and is available in our online shop in 4 variations:

Recieved it today and what a nice little mod it is.

Beautiful crafted all together, and the button – dont get me started on the button, its the smoothest EVER!!!

Now, all I am waiting for now is the arrival of my brand new Foggatti to complement the Dingo. Both the Dingo and the Foggatti is for my wife (lucky bastard) – but I sure can enjoy the look of it.

Who said that quitting smoking saves you money?!? (and life off cause).

It’s not really in our plans at the moment, but if there’s big demand for it, we will respond. The electrical properties argument is valid, but Roller and Dingo have very few connection points already, especially compared to other mods.

Are you maybe thinking of producing a single tube for the dingo so it can be run with a 18650 battery without having to use extension tubes at all? This way there won’t be any seems and the electrical properties of the mod might be even better due to the lack of one more transition for the currency to overcome.

Also, it might be a good idea to mention in your shop which extensions are needed for each mode (f.e. 18650, 18500). I think it’s not that apparent. 🙂

      Hey Tsiggy,

Definitely – I’ll try to get one in the next few days!

I have to say, though, that Dingo looks a lot better in 18500 mode with the upcoming #RD-T2 extension.

      Hey Fippes,

Ice-matte is a natural finishing (no plating involved) with a satin matte appearance and feel. Since no brushing is involved in the process, the ice matte finishing does not have the brushed texture of brushed matte.

Depending on the technique used, it can have a dark or light tone. Darker shades get stained rather easily and have a soft feel, while light shades have a glassy feel and don’t get stained.

We’ll upload some pictures once we have made up our mind — at the moment, we’re having an internal debate on which color tone / feel we should go for 🙂
