VapeSnail aesthetic features / versions
The VapeSnail is available in the following versions:
Stainless Steel (SS)
Lightly brushed SS316 metal parts, Stainless Steel appearance of all outer surfaces
Midnight Black (MB)
SS316 or SS316 core electroplated metal parts, colored in a chromatic black mixture from dark blue – black, purple and other dark color shades. Plated are the outer surfaces of the chimney and the negative post (deck) while the rest of its parts have natural CNC looks.
Gold (G)
SS316 or SS316 core electroplated metal parts, colored gold using 18k true gold. Gold yellow with tints of red. Plated are the chimney, the negative post (deck) and the positive post, while the rest of its parts have natural CNC looks
Please note:
Due to the nature of electroplating, it is expected to find small marks and iridescence effect on certain points of the device’s inner surfaces. Steps of the procedure ensure that outer surfaces of the device have uniform looks and finish, but inner surfaces can’t be processed equally effectively.
Electroplating is not a coating rather than a very thin extra metal layer. As such, hairlike scratches and small bumps, typical on metal surfaces, should be expected on all plated surfaces, visible from close distance or with the use of magnifying lens.
As an electroplating attribute, tonic differences are expected in the same color between batches. Differences are not visible with bare eyes in the case of Midnight Black and Gold, and appear to be more intense with the Iron Grey. For this, we keep stock of parts from different batches separately, in order to make sure that replacements will come from the same batch with the device when needed.
The VapeSnail electroplating procedure follows the same steps with DotShell’s electroplating procedure. More about the electroplating procedure on the DotShell here.
The Tank section of the VapeSnail has a pyramid-like shape, being a tad bit narrower at the top part of the tank. This is the result of mold process requirements and is absolutely natural and intented.
The Tank section of the VapeSnail has been slightly altered since February 2022. Tanks assembled on VapeSnails from this date and on, are gradually replaced by the newer version, which, compared with initial version, does not have the two protruding arcs on inner walls, neither the two distinctive vague lines extending from top to bottom of tank. The new version ensures a more clean look, but does not have any functional difference whatsoever.

VapeSnail functional features
The VapeSnail takes many steps forward, as it is much more than just another rebuildable bridge.
Being an RTA with a custom dedicated tank of its own, it features real time access to deck and real time ability to change the air flow tubes, plus a custom condensations plug with optimal sealing ability and it’s own absorbent material, and many many more features you will love. Its tank is made of a special medical grade plastic called PCTG. It’s the same plastic that is used for approved baby bottles and medical appliances, FDA approved, totally safe and 100% resistant against cracker liquids. The tank hosts a large front port for refilling purposes, with a silicon cover which is easy to remove and replace in an instant. If you take the VapeSnail out of its AIO nest, and flip it upside down, you can have access to deck in seconds, by just pulling the tank section off the Deck section. The deck features a huge space which is able to host many different approaches of one-coil rebuilding, from simple round wire to large exotic coils. The air flow of the VapeSnail is dialled in by a set of Positive Tubes with different inner diameter. By choosing your preferred inner diameter out of five fixed flow AFC Tubes (2.0/2.5/3.0/3.5/4.0mm inner D), you can have a tighter or more loose draw from loose MTL, RDL to a full open 4mm DL, having the air flow adjusted right under the coil. This largest one of the tubes also serves as a nest for a set of four pins to adjust to tighter air flow for MTL / loose MTL vaping. Most important, you can switch AFC Tube (and consequently MTL Pin as well) any time, even with full Tank and a build on the Deck. The Tubes not only control air flow right under coil but also serve as adjustable positive pole of the VapeSnail. Normally you screw them in all the way, but they can be adjusted lower if needed for use with certain Boro compatibles other than the Billet Box. The versatility of the VapeSnail is further facilitated by an amazing part which also comes out of the box, the Chamber and Chimney Reducer. When in place, the CnC Reducer forms a restricted chamber and a narrow Chimney (2.5mm) suitable for MTL builds. When removed, the chamber opens up and the diameter of the chimney increases to 4.0mm, ready for open RDL / DL setups. The VapeSnail features its own condensations proofing design, with a custom Plug. The Plug is a custom silicon sealing gasket which helps so that you will have minimum condensations (if any) inside your AIO. Its sealing function is supported by the Absorbent Pad, a small round synthetic wick, easily replaceable, which absorbs any condensations piling up inside the air channel.

so after i got the tripod 2 i had to get my hands o the vapesnail for my billet box.
shipping was just as fast as always and you get a few extras like the pins, stickers for the billet box and a tool which can also be used to tighten up the nut on your boromod.
i used it just like it came with the biggest airflow pin and took out the chamber reducer. wicked it like my tripod 2 with a 6 looped alien on a 2.5mm id and it works just fantastic. the flavour on this is not as warm like the wickd omega but it is still top notch and one of my favourite rba/boros. machiening as always top and the tank is so nice that i had to order an other one for my orher bridges. the filling system is so easy and you dont get liquid everywhere. but the most exciting thing is the little rubber piece with the pad to reduce condensation. i dont have to worry that my contact gets wet because the little condensation u will have will still be on the rubber! just amazing. and the best thing on this tank is that you can get on your building and also change the airflowpin although your tank is full of liquid. yes u have to switch the airflow pin with the connector to build and test your coil but i dont mind because its done in a few seconds and also im used to it from other bridges. i dont really have negatives on this and im really impressed by this little thing. this FLAVOUR……

I have already left a comment here. So this time just a quick note about my preferred set-up:
Simple round wire is quite sufficient. In my case 28GA Inowire, 6-8 wicks, 2.5mm inner diameter, 1.0-1.3 Ohm. I’m using the 1.2mm Air Pin, left the chimney reducer in. I vape this set-up at 10-12 watts.
For sure, I’m a MTLer and can only testify to this vape technique. But this little miracle of an RBA produces the best taste I’ve experienced in a long time. I can state beyond a shadow of a doubt that in terms of vapor production and flavor, the VapeSnail can keep up with my very best high-end atomizers.

On Thursday I had ordered, the following Monday I got the Vapesnail already delivered. This is really first class delivery service. And what can I say, I’m a newcomer to the world of AiO’s. So, I had my first Billet Box ready, the Vapesnail installed, and off we go. I cannot describe my excitement here. The wicking is incredibly easy. The vapor is great. The taste just superb. This RBA is really a little miracle. Excellent in craft and function. I can only recommend it to everyone, whether you’re a newbie or an experienced vaper.
I would have one wish, if I may be so presumptuous: Could a possible follow-up not be built so that we can screw the RBA directly on a box? Just dispense the 510 adapter. That would be really great.
Anyway, I’m so excited that a second Billet Box is already on the way. So I need a second Vapesnail of course. I will order the fitting black version, as soon as available again at Atmizoo.
It only remains to congratulate you for this true little masterpiece!

About the potential new design without the need of a 510 adapter, of course it would be great to have this as an option – but there are several technical restrictions which don’t allow this to be realistic. I won’t get into much detail, but it has to do with the maximum diameter of air flow tube used. VapeSnail is designed to have a maximum of 4mm hole airflow, which in turn made it necessary to design the air flow tubes as parts of the positive pole of the electric circuit. We all know that the 510 threading is the negative part of the circuit, so we have a dead end here 🙂 In any case, many thanks for the suggestion, we love interaction and the community being eager, with new ideas and feedback 🙂 Keep it this way!

I’ve been using my Vapesnail for just over a year now (with a 0.8 coil and 1.5mm pin) which says a lot for me as it’s rare that any bit of vape gear holds my interest for long. With AIOs being the fashion at the moment I’ve tried a few of the other RBAs that have come out but none of them, so far at least, have bettered the Vapesnail for me. The quality of vape from it, the reliability and the design and manufacturing of it are just spot-on in my humble opinion! Being able to buy spare parts is also a huge bonus, I love that about their products. Slightly fiddly to wick just right? Maybe. But nothing insurmountable and once you nail it it’s easy enough to get it right consistently. So thank you to Atmizoo for such an amazingly good bit of kit. I wonder if there will be a V2? 🙂

I ordered a clone to see if that all is for me. Half a year later i knew it would be worth to get the original. So i ordered: Same again: Delivered next day. Just now i built it and it’s totally worth it.
It is much better than the clone. More extras, better build quality (you feel it just by touching it) and it fits perfectly in BBrev4c (clone didn’t).
